A few days ago, Porsche introduced the all-new Panamera 2024, which offers the so-called Active Ride Suspension System. This is a completely revolutionary hydraulic motor system that is connected to each shock absorber of the car and can thus change the tilt of the body in all directions within thousandths of a second. The system eliminates any limitations that conventional chassis have had until now and offers the absolute elimination of the influence of the road and the tilt of the car chassis itself from the rest of the body.

To showcase this new system, Porsche engineers created an app on iPhone, which uses the phone's accelerometer and gyroscope and how you tilt the phone in real time translates it to the tilt of the car's body itself. As the engineers themselves said during the presentation, don't turn the phone with the display down, we haven't tested that. As a result, the system will work exactly the opposite of how Porsche presents it, because its goal is to keep the car's body completely flat, no matter what happens under its chassis, but of course, it's more interesting to move the body itself than the chassis during the presentation. How this system controlled iPhoneYou can see what it looks like in the following video.
