Alza will also deliver on Christmas Eve, will exchange unsuitable gifts for free

Alza will also focus on this year's Christmas before maximal availability of goods and their fast delivery. It will also deliver on Christmas Eve. And most often electronics. According to the Alza questionnaire survey, this is what most respondents plan to buy as a Christmas gift. That is why this year too Alza increased its stock of both electronics and other goods. The number one Czech e-commerce company also offers its customers free exchange of unsuitable gifts, despite AlzaBoxes.

Before Christmas on your website Alza.cz traditionally starts delivery by Christmas. This means that the customer will see the delivery speed of the given goods on the website. Shipping, for which Alza guarantees delivery by Christmas Eve, it will be marked with a Christmas tree symbol in the cart when selecting shipping and payment. 

In addition to checking delivery, customers will also be able to check the stock levels of individual branches on the e-shop website. They will only need to select the nearest store and a list of goods for immediate collection will appear in the statement. This is to Alza to make the choice as easy as possible for customers, even if there are only a few days left until Christmas. "The biggest latecomers will be able to come for their Christmas gifts even on the morning of 24 December, as our branch network will be open until 12 noon," says Čeřovská and adds: "Really last-minute security is electronic gift vouchers, which the customer can buy at any time, even in the afternoon on Christmas Day from the comfort of their own home."

The course will include electronics, but also toys

Most customers plan to choose electronics as a Christmas gift this year, 32% of them. But toys, cosmetics, clothing, home appliances and books are also popular. This is according to an October survey by the company Alza. "Customers have long appreciated our wide range and availability of goods compared to other e-shops, as well as the fact that we are a leader in the sale of electronics. That's why we have increased our stocks this year to meet customer demand. However, predicting demand itself is not easy, so we recommend customers not to leave purchases to the last minute." points out Čeřovská.

The survey also showed that most customers, 24% of them, plan to spend between 5 and 000 CZK on Christmas gifts. 10% of the respondents even more than CZK 000. An interesting result of the questionnaire is also the fact that 10% of respondents leave their Christmas gift purchases to the last minute, or to the last week before Christmas. And when it comes to the purchases themselves, the interviewees are most stressed by the amount of people in the store. "With Alza, that's no longer the case. For just 25 CZK per month with an annual payment, they have the opportunity to shop with free delivery on anything, every day,” says Čeřovská. 

Compared to those who shop in malls, for example, they will enjoy a quiet and relaxed Christmas. When taking into account the transport to the store and the time costs of the purchase, one such trip to the store will easily cost 600 crowns or more, according to Alza's calculation based on data from the Czech Statistical Office.

It can sometimes be a challenge to find the right gift for your loved ones, but Alza customers don't have to worry about that. If they manage to give someone an unsuitable gift, they can easily exchange the item for a voucher until 31 January 1, which they can then use to Alza.cz buy something else.
