Adding medications
Since the advent of the operating system iOS 16, you can also use the native Health app on your iPhone to remind you to take your medication or supplement, and you can also note these events. Launch Health and tap at the bottom of the screen. Browsing. Go to category Medication, click on Add medicine and follow the instructions on the display.
Records of medication use
It may happen that, despite the warning, you forget to take the medicine, or simply cannot take it for various reasons. Among other things, the Medicines feature in the native Health on iPhone allows you to set up confirmation of the use of a given medicine. Run it Health -> Browse -> Medicines, in the Records section, click on the selected drug and click on Used or vice versa Omitted.
Export that
Native Health on your iPhone also allows you to export selected data. For example, if you want to export data related to medication use, run Health -> Browse -> Medicines. Nakonec just head a little lower, tap on Export PDF and then on the share icon in the upper right corner.
Additional comments
The Medicines feature within native Health offers since its arrival iOS 17 also has a useful option for additional reminders, which will ensure that you take your medicine on time. Start Health -> Browse -> Medicines. Aim down, tap on Options -> Notifications -> Medication Reminder, and thenonec you just need to activate and customize the Additional Reminders feature.
Health trends
Another useful feature in native Health are the so-called Trends – indicators of how individual aspects of your health status and physical activity change over time. So if you are interested in, for example, how the number of your steps changed, start Health, click on Trends and select View all health trends.
