Company Bloomberg this week reported that a number of employeesancOura will be expanded by Jason Oberfest, who previously worked at the company Apple in one of the key roles in the team that was in charge of the health division. Oberfest started at Applu worked in 2018, before joining the Cupertino company he worked at a startup called Mango Health.

Oura CEO Tom Hale expressed his excitement about Oberfest joining the Oura team, stating, "With Jason's addition, we are poised to penetrate deeper into the world of healthcare." He also noted that his arrival "marks the beginning of a new chapters of Oura". For the Finnish company, Oberfest's arrival is in line with where Oura is trying to go in healthcare. Oura wants to be more than just a health and wellness tracker and aims to expand the versatility for users by legitimizing the Oura Ring as a true health tool.
