The first headset from the workshop Applu in the form Vision Pro is not officially sold yet, but it is constantly busy. Here and there some new details and information will surface. When Apple presented in June of this year Vision Pro, gave several journalists the opportunity to try this hot new product. Although the journalists were mostly downright enthusiastic, more than one of them mentioned the higher weight of the kit (or rather poorly distributed weight), which could cause neck pain during prolonged use, with the significant front center of gravity being the most common mention. Apple may be aware of this ailment, as it is coming up with a patent application that may solve the problem.

The patent talks about a rear counterweight, which of course will not reduce the weight of the headset, but will contribute to a better distribution of the total weight of the product. However, it would not be just an ordinary paperweight, but an additional battery could be placed in the additional strap, which would last Vision Pro increased a bit. It must be added that this is not a revolutionary idea, but basically an idea borrowed from Meta Quest 2. So we'll see if Apple they sometimes resort to a similar solution. There are still a few months left until the official start of sales, and who knows. Maybe u Vision Pro until then something will change. On the other hand, we cannot forget that the aforementioned is only the text of the patent application, which Apple may never come to life.
