Not long ago, we informed you in our magazine that Google was going to Maps to introduce one of the most significant changes in recent years in the form of new shades for many elements in them. And as Google promised, it has now done so. After weeks of testing, it has begun to widely distribute the new feature to users around the world, both on mobile phones andoneon your phone or tablet through its application, as well as through the web version available at the notorious address maps.google.com. You can see how the colors look now and how they looked before in the gallery below. The left image always shows the previous version, while the right image shows how the same place looks after the color redesign.
In general, it can be said that Google Maps now, thanks to the use of lighter shades of color, they have a much more lively impression than before. At the same time, at least in our opinion, they are also clearer, since, for example, roads haveonespecifically the color that makes sense to them – i.e. gray instead of the current white or yellow. Overall, therefore, it should now be Google Maps better to navigate and generally should be more pleasant to use, which, however, only time will confirm. The new feature has been out for a really short time, and Google is apparently rolling it out gradually, so it is possible that you will not even see it on your devices yet. However, it should not take long for it to arrive everywhere.
So even less clear than before. I've been thinking about the redesign Gmaps When did they start putting it in these dull colors and everything blends together, I don't use those maps. I have mapy.cz for everything and so far I'm completely satisfied. Even after all these years.
