The end of the year is inexorably approaching, and so various statistics published by individual services are beginning to appear. One of them is the password manager NordPass, which published a list of the 20 most used and at the same time the most stupid passwords used by users from different countries. The list comes from a database of 4,3 TB of passwords created by NordPass analysts from freely available sources on the dark web.
Since everyone knows how much space a text file with a password takes up, then it is clear to everyone that it is billions of records. In addition to this database, another database, this time 6,6 TB in size, was analyzed, which was created by combining data from malware tools that are also freely available on the dark web.
