Details in the forecast

If you click on the 10-day forecast tab for the selected location, you can monitor a number of other conditions in addition to the temperature. In the graph with the temperature, you can tap on drop-down menu with a cloud icon choose whether you want to switch to a graph with UV index, wind, precipitation or other conditions. Below this chart you will also find a daily summary, a brief comparison of the days and explanations.

Changing the temperature units

In native Weather, you will find several ways to switch between temperature units. In the main overview with locations, you can click on the icon of three dots in a circle in the upper right corner and select the desired units in the menu that appears. But you can also click on the selected location 10 day forecast card or all-day view, aim all the way down and switch to other temperature units.

Precipitation map

You can also use the interactive precipitation map in native Weather on your iPhone. Select the area you want and head a little further down to the map preview labeled Precipitation. Click to enlarge the map, with the help of the control element in the lower part of the display you can play the animation of the development of precipitation, by clicking on the icon of horizontal lines in the upper right you can easily and quickly change the location.

Temperature and precipitation averages

Do you feel that this time of the month is suspiciously warmer than in previous years? You can easily verify your assumption in the tab dedicated to temperature averages. Click on the selected location and head a little further down to the Averages section. In the upper part of the display, you can switch between the graph of average temperatures and precipitation, below you will find an overview of monthly averages and useful information.

Comparison of days

Native Weather in iOS 17 also offers the option to view the temperature for the current day and the previous day. Tap the selected location, then tap the temperature in the 10-day forecast card. Nakonec you just need to head a little further down and check the relevant data in the Compare days section.
