It's only been a few weeks, huh? Apple through an internal message to authorized service centers, confirmed wireless charging problems in some BMW cars, whose integrated wireless chargers were malfunctioning NFC chips in iPhonech 15 (Pro) needed for example for NFC, and here we have another problem of a similar nature. On the Reddit discussion network, owners of GM cars, which includes, for example, the Chevrolet, which is easily found in the Czech Republic, have started complaining that after the update to iOS 17.1 stopped working on integrated chargers for iPhone 15 (Pro).
Fortunately, the problem in GM cars is less serious than in the case of BMW, as iPhones simply don't charge, while in BMWs charging causes the system to deactivate. NFC chip. However, this is still an inconvenience that has forced some owners of these cars to turn to Apple, which according to available information should already solve the whole issue. However, one thing is certain – the solution to the whole issue is still at the very beginning and the fix is therefore still not available. It has not arrived as in the recently released iOS 17.1.1, nor in iOS 17.2 beta 3, which was released yesterday. Owners of GM cars can only hope that Apple he can solve everything in no time and charge his iPhone 15 (Pro) again on the integrated car chargers in no time.
...wireless charging has not worked in Volvo since version iPhone 13 Pros, probably not a solution 🤷🏻♂️
It works in Hyundai cars, but I prefer to turn it off in the car settings
