Although we live in modern times, many things still need to be dealt with the way they were dealt with ten or more years ago. However, this should soon be partially resolved. The state is preparing a new mobile application for smartphones, through which it will de facto communicate with citizens. And according to Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bartoš, its release is close.
In an interview with Ivan Bartoš for Legal services As usual, it was also time to ask questions about digitization, which the pirates have set as one of the priorities for this election period. And it was to this question that Bartoš reminded that the state is currently developing a new one modern Citizen Portal application, which is supposed to serve precisely for the communication of citizens with the state. "When the state needs to tell you something, it jumps to you. For example, when the document ends. When you get a data message, it's supposed to look like an email and you respond to it like an email. This should be towards the end of the year. ... We are now making a new Citizen Portal, which will have its own Govcz application. It's a shame that that name was chosen at that time. I would like it to be more trendy, for example a CZapka (cap). Also, the e-receipt will come after the new year and I'm looking forward to it," sounded in conversation.

The eDoklady application was also discussed, which will serve as a kind of digital wallet for keeping an ID card, driver's license or other IDs on a mobile phone. In connection with it, Bartoš repeated that the documents stored in it will initially be valid only on the territory of the Czech Republic, while it is expected that documents in digital form will start to be recognized in certain places from January 1. However, the police, for example, fall into the second wave of authorities that will have to accept it. Below is a detailed breakdown of how each wave will follow:
The obligation to accept eDocuments will be introduced gradually for the authorities.
- From January 1, 2024, central administrative authorities will have this obligation, with the exception of embassies.
- From July 1, 2024, non-central public authorities, as well as regions and municipalities with extended powers.
- From January 1, 2025, other authorities and entities that are required by law to verify identity.
However, if some state or private entities voluntarily decide to verify digital data by themselves, they will have that option from January 1, 2024.
Well, firearms licenses and weapons licenses are still nothing :) We will still carry loads of cards :)
And then maybe discount cards for stores...
The upcoming amendment to the Weapons Act does not include a firearms license or a weapon license at all. The police will only have it stored in the database and that's it.
And would you also like discount cards for stores? :))
What about discount cards for stores?
You have a hundred.card.
