Czech internet giant Seznam.cz has prepared another interesting improvement for one of its jewels in the showcase of services and applications, which can significantly help it expand its popularity. Specifically, we are talking about the Mapy.cz map data, which are also available in the form of an application for smartphones.onech, which enjoys great popularity for its great usability, which will probably rise again now. On their Twitter account, Mapy.cz has started to entice you with a new feature in the form of displaying the exit you should take to leave the roundabout. Thanks to this, you will know in advance where to exit the roundabout and driving through it will therefore be a little safer and smoother again.
Czechia, land of circles? So let's make it a little more pleasant. In the navigation, we now show where your exit from the roundabout actually is. Sometimes the situation is less clear from behind the wheel, so it's nice to know in advance that you have to drive right behind your nose.

From Seznam's actions in recent months, it can almost be said that Mapy.cz is currently one of its priorities. New functions have been coming to this application both in the desktop and mobile version very often recently, and it must be admitted that in the vast majority of cases these are upgrades that the general public will really appreciate. Thanks to this, Mapy.cz enjoys a really great popularity, at least according to the reactions on social networks, but also under our articles, which logically stems from the ever-increasing user base. And what about you, are you also fans of Seznam's map solution, or do you prefer something else?
I am a big fan of this CZ project. In the regionone SK/CZ is perfect for me. The previous update, where I can export .gpx data in the mobile application and upload it to the smart watch won me over.
Yes, mapy.cz are excelents, but I had an idea about a year ago and nothing yet. It has happened to me many times that (since I record my routes using the "tracker") I forgot to turn on the tracker and I suggested that they add to the maps the option to turn on the tracker automatically if the maps detect that you are driving, unfortunately nothing so far. Too bad...
I've been waiting 5 years for navigation to be added to the Watch. We have a nice thread on the list where people support the idea and still nothing.
I hate the list
As for me CarPlay Google Maps and their satellite view are fine. When I recently tried the map list, the satellite view is terribly out of focus and even the colors are so faded.
(I mean showing the map without a destination set)
This reeks of charging (time)… 🙃
They also fixed the buzzer about leaving the ring - it always said it when I was outside
I've been driving according to mapy.cz for many years, I suggested one improvement, but the answer sounds like this.
Have a nice day,
Thank you for your message.
Individual suggestions and suggestions from users are reviewed by our developers, as there are a lot of them, we apologize for the longer wait.
With regards and wishes a nice day

Hello, I have been driving according to the cz map for several years. But years later, I don't remember what I've already visited and what I haven't. It would help a lot if I go according to the folder of my map, so that I can mark the visited places in red, for example. I mean, for example, if I have a South Moravia folder, I go according to the folder. So I would mark what I visit in red. It would be super.
I use Czech maps every day as a necessity in the work of the courier service. Sometimes, however, unfortunately, the experts from Mapa do not have absolutely accurate data, especially when instead of going to the premises of some company, they take me to a side street, often unused for years, and the correct address is behind the fence that lines the street. It also happens with family houses and smaller buildings, that the resulting route is not exact. There, I have customers tell me that it has been going on for years and that almost all the suppliers I don't know end up outside their address somewhere behind the fence, around the corner or in the next street. And even if the map offers me "smileys" after completing the route of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the route, despite the use of these smileys, nothing has changed anywhere over the course of several years. Do they really use "ajtaci" in the company?!
When I put the Seznam map on a route that I know, I drive it regularly, the program forces me to drive in a detour and route up to kilometers longer.
According to what principle does the system guide the driver? Optimal or on county roads?
Jack
Let them have 100 improvements, but I'll stick with Waze.
