Event Scary fast mainly introduced the M3 chips, but also threw in a trio MacBooků Pro and one iMac. And the new 24" M3 iMac has just arrived at our editorial office. It doesn't matter that you can't tell it apart from its previous M1 generation with the naked eye, because it is still the greatest design gem ever Apple created Check out his unboxing which is truly nutritious.

Unfortunately, the M1 iMac eluded me. So I saw it in stores, yes, but I didn't have the luck to test it. Now the card has turned and it arrived in a wonderful green color, which by the way is also the one I would have preferred to buy. However, the packaging is really sturdy and Apple left nothing to chance here. Expect it to be more than just a matter of taking it out of the box. MacBookThere's a lot of unpacking here. But you'll enjoy it all the more.

After tearing off the foil, you can see the covered iMac display. First, you release the sides and bottom, then you take out the iMac. It is still completely wrapped in the covering material, even after removing it, the display is still covered with a solid foil, which you can also find on iPhonech, just on a slightly smaller scale. The box itself also offers a dedicated space for peripherals. You'll find a power adapter, a cable that magnetically attaches to the back of the iMac, Lightning cable for charging peripherals and a shortened one for the tested piece Magic Keyboard s Touch ID, Magic Trackpad i Magic Mouse.

My work plan is clear because I use Mac mini s Magic Keyboard with the numeric keypad, and just Magic Trackpad. Magic Mouse I haven't even turned it on yet. Everything is of course in the same color that you get with your iMac, including a sticker with the company logo that you can find in the brochures. The cables, except for the one for the adapter, are braided.

What next? Of course, start the machine and start testing. The first start is a matter of moments, just log in, set up Touch ID and it works. Specifically in macOS Sonoma 14.1. It's worth adding that the configuration we tested has an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16 GB RAM and a 512 SSD.
