The train station in Adamov in Blanensko underwent an extensive reconstruction last year, which moved it to one of the leading bars in the Czech Republic in terms of both design and quality. This autumn, for the reconstruction, the railway workers in Adamov received another gadget, which is a camera system connected to artificial intelligence. There are a total of sixty cameras at the station, which are connected to a central computer, where artificial intelligence evaluates in real time what is happening on individual shots. This activity was still in charge of the railway workers, who could miss anything. Now, Adamov is the first in the Czech Republic to use artificial intelligence instead of humans, which will gradually expand to other locations.

Artificial intelligence can detect and self-assess dangerous objects, for example, it can distinguish between luggage that someone stepped only a few meters away from because they went to stretch, and luggage that someone placed on the platform and left. They then evaluate such luggage as risky and notify the police or other authorities. Likewise, AI can detect dangerous people, people on a search, or people visibly carrying a weapon. It goes without saying that there is also a notification in the event that someone falls onto the track or, for example, gets sick on the platform.
