One of the new ways to improve privacy protection in the operating system iOS 17 is the ability to set limited access to photos for third-party apps and be notified about which apps have full access to your photo library. How to use this feature in iOS 17 really full?

While in the operating system iOS 16 includes the ability to restrict third-party access to selected photo and video content, in iOS 17 introduced Apple several other improvements that improve awareness and privacy in this area. Users are in the operating system iOS 17 better and more clearly informed about what content each third-party app has access to. This includes a notice that apps can “see” location data and image captions, an explanation of why the app wants access to the Photos app, and the current number of photos and videos in your library.

After instalation iOS 17 to your iPhone, just look out for automatic notifications about apps that had full access to your Photos app library and decide whether you want to continue allowing this access.

  • You can choose between Restricted Access, Allow full access or Do not allow.
  • A warning will also appear the first time an app asks for app permissions Fotky.
  • To restrict access to the Photos app on iPhone at any time, go to Settings, click on selected application -> Photos, and you can edit the details.

You may also be alerted to options for sharing content from the gallery with third-party applications during the sharing process itself.
