For example, if you are on screenshotIf you wanted to highlight a specific element on your iPhone, you could in previous versions of the operating system iOS use the magnifying glass function. It was a circular field whose scope you could adjust, and with which you could effectively enlarge the given element. However, this magnifying glass was no longer available in the annotation tools after switching to the operating system iOS You won't find 17.
The disappearance of the magnifying glass from the annotation tools menu is surprising - it does not seem like a deliberate move on the part of the company Apple. In its operating system manual iOS 17 continues to mention how, in annotations, screenshotYou can use the aforementioned magnifying glass. But if you take a iOS 17 screenshot and in the lower right corner you click on the + to the right of the annotation toolbar, the magnifying glass is not there. It did not appear in either betagreen iOS 17.2, and it doesn't appear in iPadOS 17 either. However, the magnifier is still present on Mac in Preview and Photos.
Did you notice after switching to iOS 17 any other peculiarities?
Call history is no longer limited to displaying the last 100 calls, but also shows Facetime calls and the complete history (at least for me) since purchase iPhone (08 / 2023).
In the background settings, the blurring of the background photo works very strangely, sometimes it can't be turned on, and when I manage to turn it on, when I switch to another mode, the defrosting turns off again.
There is also a slow or non-functioning synchronization between Apple watch a iPhone.
Overall iOS 17 seems like a real failure to me, as if no one even tested it 😏
Mam Ultrawatch a iPhone 14 PRO.
Iphone 14 pro, since 17.0.1 the incognito browsing button has disappeared. Since 17.0.2 you can't even delete history. The "edit" and "delete" buttons are still present, but after clicking on edit the "delete" button is grayed out and you can't do anything. Only "done" is active so everything ends without any changes. The same is true in 17.1. Is this happening to you too??
This also happens on iPhone 11 after update to 17
