At the end of last week, we brought you interesting graphs from the publicly available audited Gemius measurement in our magazine, which showed that the number of users in the Czech Republic had decreased sharply in the last two months. iOS The drop was so significant and more or less unfounded that we initially interpreted it as a possible error, which is why we decided to contact the creators of the graph themselves to ask for an explanation. And now they have come to us.oneshe really got it.

We specifically asked Gemius about what happened in the Czech Republic in terms of usage over the last two months. iOS vs Android. Operating system iOS because according to their graph, it recorded a 2% decrease in 25 months and nowhere else in other countries has anything similar happened according to your measurement nestHello. The company's response is as follows:
“Data on pages ranking.gemius.com are presented as shares of PV for individual operating systems – they show the share of a given operating system in the total number of PVs measured on the sites involved in the research. In this case, it is not correct to conclude that something is happening with iOS – data for iOS after checking with our internal systems they are relatively stable, on the contrary the share of PV for Android has increased. The higher increase for Android could be increased by artificial traffic caused by bots, for example.”
It seems that the theory that Czech Apple fans would suddenly start getting rid of iPhones en masse and switching to cheaper Androids, for example due to a difficult financial situation or something similar, is by all accounts wrong. At the same time, it is quite frankly impossible to assume thatonec year attracted to Android a large number of previously "unsullied" users, whether from among children or adults who have not yet come into contact with smartphones. The most likely scenario, confirmed by Gemius, therefore appears to be a truly artificial increase in traffic by various bots. In short, in summary - AppThe bell is not really ringing in our meadows and groves yet.
And isn't the fact that people already block all tx tracking and data sharing to blame?
Only in CR?
And there are more and more people using limited viewing mode on iOS?Can't this be it?
Thanks for the explanation! Maybe it has something to do with the presidential campaign (increased bot interest). Anyway, I'm glad the user base AppWe don't fall apart :)
The explanation is much simpler, the operators had events before Christmas when they gave free data or for a few bucks, t-mobile gave me unlimited data for the whole of December. Normally I only have 2.5GB because that's enough for me.
So they started dating all the kids on the bases, who normally can't date because their parents won't buy it for them.
So the current reduction of the share from 20% to 15% only better reflects reality.
Personally, I estimate them IOS is used in about 10% of mobile devices in our country.
