For the largest domestic computer and electronics store Alza.cz are once again being impersonated by fraudsters who aim to lure gullible people who are unable to distinguish between real and fake Alza into giving them their payment card details and of course then using them to make payments on the internet. The seller is trying to warn its customers with all available means, but it is certainly not out of place to help them with this awareness and thus prevent fraudsters from further robbing people. Full text of the store warning Alza.cz can be found below, specifically under our gallery, where we "tested" the fraudulent e-shop.
We are alerting customers to a fraudulent website that is exploiting our company name and our discount promotions. This website is not affiliated with the company. Alza.cz as has nothing to do with it and we strongly warn against it. All official events of our e-shop take place exclusively at our address https://www.alza.cz – and for example the Price Blockbusters event or Alza The days on our e-shop include thousands of products, not just diapers.
We are warning customers about a fraudulent site, which is located on a fake domain imitating the address of our e-shop.
We strongly warn against trying to buy from it. This is a fairly successful imitation, but it shows the typical warning signs of Internet fraud:
- Invalid address
- Time pressure in the form of deduction
- Language errors or multilingual titles
A closer look can reveal other discrepancies:
- The site only offers an assortment of baby diapers and all other product categories are missing.
- The page contains outdated marketing incentives of our company.
- When you click on individual products, a window for entering personal data will immediately appear.
- On the e-shop Alza.cz always displays a detailed description of the product with all its parameters.
- Alza always gives customers a choice of shipping and payment method before completing an order.
