Apple is planning a major exit from China very soon. At least that's what more and more Chinese media outlets with ties to suppliers are claiming. Applu, to whom the Californian giant is slowly announcing that it either does not count on them in the coming years, or that it wants to drastically reduce the production of iPhones in their Chinese factories. The reason is absolutely simple - an effort to reduce the risk of supply disruption, which is now faced Apple encountered fairly regularly.

Apple according to available information, he should have informed Chinese suppliers that by 2025 he wants to set up production in China in such a way that "only" 75% of all manufactured iPhones are produced in the country, while by 2027 even only half of all manufactured phones for the entire world. The vast majority of China's production capacity is specifically to be taken over by India, which in recent years has proven to be very reliable in terms of supplies and at the same time cheap in terms of production costs. For Apple therefore, in this respect, it is an absolutely ideal replacement, which also has the potential in the future to be able to take on an even greater part of the responsibility for production than is currently planned. So it is a bit of an exaggeration to say that the iconic phrase "Assembled in China" known from earlier iPhones will become a rarity.
