Can you imagine earning more than two billion crowns in a single year? Although we don't want to offend any of you, probably not. That makes the idea of voluntarily giving up more than one billion crowns all the more crazy. And yet there are people around the world who are capable of doing it, and they do it voluntarily. One of them is the boss Applu Tim Cook, who earned more than $98 million last year, or 2,17 billion crowns, and who has now voluntarily decided that he no longer wants such a large sum of money this year.

According to information available from documents submitted by the Securities and Exchange Commission, he had Apple to present a proposal to the company's board of directors to cut his salary roughly in half - specifically to $49 million. The original plans were that he would earn roughly the same as last year, i.e. over 2 billion crowns. However, since now Apple "runs into" a modified type of remuneration policy, the company as such, according to the available information, is not doing as well as it would probably like and, on top of that, Cookand he is not too happy about the money, because he has already made it known many times that he lives very modestly and intends to invest all his money in charitable purposes, it was not a problem for him to reduce his reward by a good 1,1 billion crowns. This money will Apple can either be divided among other employeesancor use them in any other way, which is certainly positive for him. However, for an ordinary mortal, thinking in such numbers is completely beyond comprehension.
