If you are interested in world events AppIf you are a fan and carefully follow every conference or our magazine, you certainly didn't miss the developer conference last year. WWDC22. On that one Apple traditionally introduced mainly new versions of Apple operating systems, but in addition to them we were also able to look at the new generation CarPlay, i.e. superstructures from Applu, which can be used in practically all newer vehicles. Let's take a look at the 5 main innovations that the new generation will bring in this article. CarPlay, and the first vehicles may be available as early as this year.

Support for multiple screens

Currently CarPlay is displayed only on one main display of the vehicles and looks practically identical everywhere. But as you probably know, the number of screens in new cars is constantly expanding, or their diagonal size is significantly increasing. Now CarPlay you will only display it in the form of a small rectangle, however, with the arrival of the new generation, this superstructure should be displayed on all screens and fill every display that will be in the vehicles. This means that it would CarPlay It could reach the passengers, the back row of seats, or the alarm clocks.

Integration into alarm clocks

As I mentioned on the previous page, CarPlay should have been included in alarm systems. These are now digital in most cars, which means that they have a tachometr and speed are displayed classically via the display, and not in the form of "hands", as was the case inoneancient. Since it is a display, practically anything can be displayed on it. In the future, this would CarPlay It could also be integrated into alarm clocks, which would display the current speed, engine speed and other classic information that is displayed, but in a different form and with the possibility of greater customization.

Air conditioning control

If we were to mention one of the most controversial innovations in the latest cars, it would definitely be the control of the air conditioning (and a few other main vehicle functions) on the display. Most car enthusiasts complain about this solution, because when controlling the air conditioning on the display, you can't concentrate on driving as well as if you were blindly turning an analog wheel. On the one hand, this is of course true, but on the other hand, this is progress that cannot be stopped. Personally, I am convinced that controlling everything on the display is not ideal, in any case, ordinary buttons are simply not that modern anymore. I believe that a solution with some form of feedback will appear soon, thanks to which everyone will get used to controlling the car's functions on the display. This could also help CarPlay the next generation, through which it will also be possible to control the air conditioning.

Radio application

An integral part of every vehicle is also a sound system through which you can listen tochat either your own songs from streaming services or the radio. Currently, you can CarPlay use applications like Apple Music or Spotify for listening to music, but if you want to control the radio, you won't be able to do so and you'll have to return to the vehicle's native interface. This should also be fixed with the next generation CarPlay to change, and so ononeIt will be possible to control the radio simply through the Apple extension. This will practically eliminate any need for Apple users to CarPlay return to the classic vehicle system.

Widgety

Just like on the iPhone, we should be able to CarPlay to use widgety. These could come from various applications, both native and third-party. We could use them to quickly and easily display any information, for example, about the vehicle's consumption or the duration of the current trip, as well as about the weather, events in the calendar, the set route, etc. It should also be widget for home control, so you could simply use your car tochat open a gate or garage door. Simply put, widgetThey would also be able to simplify the functioning of the next generation CarPlay.
