Although a few weeks ago we were lamenting the cold weather, which was really uncharacteristic for summer, now the situation is quite the opposite. It is certainly not out of the question to use them as much as possible and cool off in the pool, dam or pond. But where can you find a nice bathing suit? For example, using an app on your iPhone.
A very useful application that will help you cool down is Swim Places. After launching it, it won't conjure up a swimming pool in front of you, but it will show you on a clear map the places you can use for swimming. You can of course zoom in on the map in different ways and find the exact location of the swimming spots. These places are marked with differently designed icons depending on the type of swimming pool. This way you can easily tell whether you have the honor of having a classic concrete pool, a pond or perhaps a quarry. After "clicking" on the individual icons, detailed information about the given location will be displayed - such as parking, refreshments, paying for admission or even whether the given location offers a nude beach. To make it easier to search for locations, you can also use a special filter that "pulls" places from the map according to your taste. You can notchat A few clicks in the app even navigate using navigation.
In my opinion, it is also great that individual locations can be reviewed, and of course directly in the application. Thanks to this, you will get a good idea of whether it is worth visiting or whether it is better to go a few kilometers further, where swimming is rated with a much higher number of stars. By the way, you can also view the bathing locations in the photos added to the application by the users themselves. Unfortunately, you won't find them everywhere, which is quite a shame.
Get involved too
Adding photos and reviews is not the only way you can customize the app. You can even add individual locations to it using a simple form. Adding usually takes a few seconds, as the form really only requires you to minimum information and the correct placement of the icon on the map. After sending the application administrator will check the new location and if it is real, they will add it to the map. I have personally added a few places to the map and the approval process has always been maxideally within a matter of hours. So it is definitely not possible to say that it would not be appwell taken care of in this regard.
Many of you will surely appreciate the fact that this is not an application that works purely in the Czech Republic, but de facto all over the world. So, if you are going on vacation to completely unknown regions and you would not like to fumble over a swimming pool there, the application can be of help to you. You will find many places to swim in it from Australia, through Africa to China. However, it should be noted that this application is most useful in Europe, which, with a bit of exaggeration, lights up with icons of swimming areas. So if you're looking for an app to help you survive hot days, you've just found it.
