When Apple introduced its first locator to the world about a year ago AirTag, he probably never dreamed of the kind of security and surveillance-related fuss it would make among people. Its main domain in the form of integration into the Find network can very easily be turned into a major drawback, simply by being AirTag used for secret tracking of people, vehicles or objects. Apple although he put it in iOS software tools to prevent tracking, and recently released an Android app for the same purpose, but that doesn't seem to work either nestačí – therefore miniat least in Pennsylvania, USA.

One of the local legislators has a history of abuse AirTags is so scared that he decided to submit new legislation for discussion this week, which has one goal - to specifically define what is still legal with AirTag to carry out. And that according to the legislation there will not be much. The legislator's effort is to make it legal through AirTags to track only personal things, which in other words means that the ability to track would end in Pennsylvania AirTags, for example, cars or pets, which is what users use them for. On the other hand, keys, wallets, bags and things of this nature will be allowed, which is on the one hand restrictive, but on the other hand objectively truly protective.

It is unclear at this time how the Pennsylvania legislature will address the issue, which will be debated in the coming days and weeks. However, if it decides to pass this legislation, it would make Pennsylvania the first state to legally allow the use of AirTag treated as legalonem.
