YouTube has started as part of its experimental features, which also include beta testing some features, offering the opportunity to try out automatic translation of comments. This is a function that allows you to use the application for iOS and Android the ability to translate all comments under a video, which are then available in one language. Individual comments can still be viewed in the original language in which the discussant added them under the video. However, the biggest advantage of the feature is the ability to read comments under videos that are not in languages that you understand. It often happens that under a video with international targeting you will find comments from a number of users, some of whom, if they can, use English, but some, on the contrary, write in their native language and there can be dozens of them under one video.
With the new auto-translate feature, all comments are automatically translated into one language so you can easily read what others are writing. The feature is available to all YouTube Premium members and will be available until September 9, 2021, with YouTube either testing it further or rolling it out to all users. If you have YouTube Premium, you can activate the translation of comments right here.
