When Apple last week, Apple unveiled its brand new 24-inch iMacs with M1 chips to the world, but it wasn't very forthcoming about pricing. On its Online Store namely, it only posted three configurations in the price range of CZK 37 to CZK 990, which with their specifications miniAt least in terms of RAM and SSD, they weren't too dazzling. It had to be clear to everyone that theoneprices Apple will only reveal when pre-orders start, which happened.

If you wanted to buy a new iMac with M1 in full gear – with 16GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD, it would cost you 73 CZK. If you then added, for example, Magic Mouse along with Magic Trackpadem, you would need to prepare the amount of 77 CZK and the purchase of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro software will bring you to even 780 CZK. So it is by no means a cheap bargain, although it is probably clear to everyone that few people will configure their computer to such an extreme level.
The introduction of the new generation of iMacs was a solid surprise for many Apple fans, including us in the editorial team, last week, and the same can be said about the design and technical specifications of the product itself. Speculations about copying the Pro Display XDR design from 2019 did not come true, and the iMac has retained its typical lower chin with relatively thick frames around the display in 2021. Overall, however, it should now look miniwith a more masculine impression, but above all to impress with its brutal performanceonem thanks to the M1 chip, an excellent 4,5K display and high-quality speakers. So far, the novelty seems to be a device that you definitely won't hesitate to buy.
Apple applies the philosophy of car companies, where "price from" means automatically adding a third of the indicated price.
The prices of the iMac seem acceptable to me, born from the prices of the rest, which is garbage. Currently, the only thing I would u Apple bought it. But for now my iMac lives. Compared to the waste iPhonem for more than 40k, the price is really great. Or the guard and his pendant 🤣👍 Put photos of those exotics here, buy it 🤣👍
16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD costs CZK 62, which is half the price of the competition. Personally, I would mainly need an M000 chip from a Mac. 🙂 No one else can offer that performance/heat/consumption ratio at any price at the moment.
Well, buy it or swing your legs...
As far as I know, you usually buy a computer as a whole. So show me a computer with these parameters "for half".
(Ps You don't have to answer because you already answered in the second half of your post)
Agreement. The question is whether the M1 itself is worth CZK 30.
We are talking about a machine aimed more at undemanding/moderately demanding users. They will not get 16 GB and 2 TB. It's more advanced people who will wait for a bigger display.
And what is extreme about 70k? That computer will last for years. 70k today is completely different money.
I don't want to troll, but I used to pay over 86 K for x140.
M1 has a problem with all calculations using integer calculations. DB, academics, etc. We'll see how everything can be managed, but with such an expensive PC... I don't see, I don't see. Of course, they will be able to satisfy the "demanding" clickers, but that's because a large part of the professional application has already been terminated on the platform, a little hint about the direction.
