As iPhone v Safari block a website from accessing your location

Websites can ask you for access to anything these days. The most common request you may see on your iPhone or iPad screen is for the site to ask for access to your camera, microphone, or location. You can completely give websites permission in Safari disable access in Settings -> Privacy, however, it is not always appropriate to disable access for all sites. As iPhone v Safari block a website from accessing your location

Part of Safari pros iOS and iPadOS has an option that allows you to set a specific website to (not) have access to your camera, microphone, or location. The setup is definitely not complicated and the procedure is as follows:

• First, you need to move to on your iPhone or iPad Safari.
• Once you've done that, go to website, where you want to manage access.
• Now tap on the icon in the top left corner of the screen aA.
• This will bring up a small menu in which press the option Settings for the web server.
• After that, you will be on the next page where you just need to click on the option Location (or Camera or Microphone).
• After clicking, all you have to do is choose one of the options:
  • Ask: the site will always ask you to access the location;
  • Prohibit: the site will not have access to the location in any case;
  • Allow: the page will have access to the location in any case.
• Once you have chosen one of the options, just tap on the top right All done.

With the above-mentioned procedure, you can ensure that websites (do not) have access to the location, camera or microphone. Keep in mind that most websites don't abuse your location in any way, instead providing your location can make your life easier. For example, if you search for a word in Google restaurant, so the nearest restaurants will be displayed to you thanks to the location - and this is how it works in many other cases. So definitely be vigilant about providing your location, camera, and microphone, but don't be inherently paranoid.
