One of the biggest innovations that last year's leader is proud of iPhone 12 (Pro), is undoubtedly the support of 5G networks, which will provide phones with a much faster Internet mobile connection compared to LTE. And since we will probably see 5G support in the upcoming iPad Pros, which the world should officially see for the first time tomorrow, the new generation Apple Watch and maybe even MacBookIt is certainly not out of place to look at how we are actually doing in the Czech Republic with the coverage of these networks. Coverage is absolutely key for similar technologies and, without any exaggeration, we can say that without it, support for electronics is absolutely useless.
Unfortunately, we don't have too many reasons to be happy about 5G in the Czech Republic yet. None of the three domestic operators offer a dizzyingly large coverage, so it's pretty clear that we'll have to wait a while for any more interesting use of 5G. For example, T-Mobile, according to its map, offers 5G support only in parts of Prague and parts of Brno, which is pitifully little considering that it is the strongest domestic operator. O2 is in the same situation in terms of coverage. miniIn the Czech Republic, it is much better, because in addition to Prague, it also offers 5G in Pilsen, Domažlice, Klatovy, Louny, Karlovy Vary and several other larger cities. However, according to the official coverage map, Moravia is practically untouched so far. Apparently, the most interesting coverage is offered, perhaps a little surprisingly, by Vodafoneone, which has already expanded its 5G networks practically throughout the entire Czech Republic, albeit quite weakly in some parts. However, at least according to the maps, it can still be called the uncrowned king of Czech 5G.

None of the above-mentioned operators has made a long-term secret of the fact that they have big plans for 5G coverage in the Czech Republic, which they would like to implement as soon as possible. However, how capable they will be at this moment is a question, since in recent months it does not seem at all that this boom should be any rapid. Hopefully, we will see a rapid boom after all, which will make (not only) 5G iPhones suddenly a bit more usable again.
- You can buy 5G iPhones at, for example Alge, Mobil Pohotovosti or u iStores
Well, I just went to test it today in Vršovice, Prague, and lo and behold, 4G+...
and how about iPhone so on Android, both phones with O2
Vodafone The coverage is pretty good, but T-mobile is quite behind :D
The only one who started it is VF. The rest is more like an alpha version.
