ANCThis company offers a great price/performance ratio for its products, which is truly unprecedented. Did they manage to live up to their standard with these headphones? We'll take a look at that together now.

But first, as usual, the contents of the package. The headphones will arrive in a small yellow-and-white box. Fans of this brand should now be more careful, as the company has been betting on the color combination of black and pale blue for many years. For a while, I was reluctant to believe that I was really holding a Niceboy product in my hands. However, it is true and it must be said that the color combination of the packaging definitely suits. Just by looking at the box, the user can read the main technological features that the company has prepared for these headphones. These are IPX5 resistance, Bluetooth 5.0, ANC or wireless charging. After opening the package, you will find the headphones in a box, a manual, spare ear tips and a USB-C cable.
Technical Specifications
Since we have already touched on the technical specifications, let's take a closer look at them. The headphones support, as mentioned above, Bluetooth 5.0. Specifically, these are the A2DP, AVRCP, HSP, HFP, HSP and SPP profiles. The supported codecs are AAC and SBC. The manufacturer states that the transmission range is up to 10 meters. However, from my own experience, I can say that in an open space you can reach several times the distance. The speakers are 8mm, the sensitivity is 101 ± 1dB, the impedance isancand then 32Ω. The headphones can play for up to 6 hours on a single charge, and even with the box you can carry a very decent 24 hours of listening in your pocket. If we focus on the design itself, the box will not inspire you with anything. Not that it is a bad idea, not by chance. But in short, it is a design that you have seen countless times before. The black matte design is decorated with the white inscription "niceboy" on the top. On the front of the box you can see LEDs that indicate the charge status. On the back, there is a USB-C toonewhich. The design is definitely more interesting with the headphones. They look very similar to the Niceboy HIVE Podsie, but they have a "stick" attached to the body. Handling them is therefore much easier. When looking at these earplugs, you can notice the LED diode, charging pins and a multifunction button. This is used for absolutely classic actions such as playing/pausing music, accepting/hanging up/rejecting a call, lowering/increasing the volume, skipping tracks, activating the voice assistant or turning on ANC/Ambient mode, which we'll talk about later.
Pairing
To enjoy listening, you must first pair the headphones with your device. Since Niceboy does not have its own app for this purpose, pairing is very easy. First, you need to take both headphones out of the charging box and remove the stickers protecting the charging pins. Then you need to press the multi-function buttons on both headphones. The headphones will then pair with each other and are ready to pair with your device as soon as the LED on them starts flashing white and orange alternately. Then head to the Bluetooth menu and search for “Niceboy HIVE Pins 2” ANC". Once completed, pairing is confirmed by an acoustic prompt and a white flashing LED.

If there's one thing you're interested in about headphones, it's the sound. It's really good here. It's clean, loud enough, and you'll even enjoy some mild bass. Niceboy HIVE Pins 2 ANC they have no problems with bass or treble and you are in for a very pleasant listening experience. But now for the main attraction – ANC. First, let's focus on its actual launch. So that you can ANC to use it, you have to press any multi-function touch button four times (applies to the old edition, see below). Personally, I find this decision to be very unfortunate, as initially it will be difficult for you to turn it on ANC an almost unsolvable problem. The headphones often misread the touch and in most cases the song just pauses. After a while of using it, you will learn this action. Even after a few weeks, I am far from 100%. I would much rather have ANC/Ambient could be turned on in the app. However, this is a solution that the company itself found to be a step too far. The new edition of the headphones ANC will be triggered by simply long-pressing the earpiece. Even though you lose the ability to lower and raise the volume, it's a small price to pay. Personally, I most often play with the volume on my watch or on my iPhone in my pocket by pressing the appropriate buttons. Believe me, this solution will be very welcome by every new owner.
Now to the actual noise cancellation. Once ANC When you turn it on, the change will be confirmed by an acoustic prompt, so you can be sure that the operation was successful. ANC here it is, but it could be more pronounced. As soon as you walk down a busy street, you will hear your surroundings clearly. However, the feeling of this technology can be improved at least a little with replacement earplugs, but you have to test it yourself and find out which size suits you best and is to the benefit of that technology ANC. Ambient mode does not offend and when using it you can have a conversation almost without any problems. But if there is one thing that works perfectly, it is making calls. The other party had absolutely no problems with voice clarity during the call, even when it was windier outside. I also appreciate wireless charging, as I personally use this method more and more often.
Summary
What to say in conclusion? These headphones play very well and offer long listening times. But if you are looking for a product with ANC, which completely "cuts you off" from the surroundings, maybe you should look elsewhere. It is also worth remembering that such headphones cost three times as much. Niceboy HIVE Pins 2 ANC Overall, they are really very good. The only thing that spoils their rating is the unfortunate control solution, which the company has fixed in the new edition. If I imagine that I would have headphones in my hands with a new switching solution ANC, I probably couldn't complain.
