About the new generation of iPads mini has been heard quite a lot in recent weeks. More and more information and real photos are coming to light, which indicate that we should expect the new generation quite soon and what's more - it should be much more interesting than the previous one. The theory regarding the product's interestingness was partially trampled last week by the leak of a photo revealing iPad mini 6 in the design of its predecessor, but now another photo has appeared, which is closer to the previous theory about the combination of a frameless design with Touch ID.
As you can see in the photo posted above leakerem DuanRui, there is no visible transition between the lower and upper bezel chin and the display area on the tablet display. The quality of the photo is not great, but if we assume that the transition between the chin and the display area would be visible even in a photo of similar quality, which is not here, the most likely explanation seems to be that it is Touch ID “cut” directly into the display area. In other words, the content displayed on the tablet display should flow around it – for example dock could be on its sides. According to available information, it is precisely on such a tablet that it is supposed to work.

However, since only the iPad Pro is reportedly scheduled for the spring, the likely date for the introduction of the new iPad Pro series seems to be mini until autumn. I go even further. I even see the present iPad mini, only with foil, sticker on home button and a slightly good filter that someone caught in the act (like a factory) and passed it off as a sensation.
So from the photo I see the current design and no bezel-less display :) Because if it had a bezel-less display, control via home button would somehow not be possible...

I'm not saying it's new. ipad mini it can't be frameless, but as for this photo, I also see mini 2019 (or dummy model) with a paperlike foil glued on – with a clear display/frame transition where it should be on the 2019 model (both on the bottom of the HB and on the sides of the display). In addition, the front camera is absurdly low for a frameless model (but on the contrary, in exactly the same place as on the 2019 model – in the middle of the upper frame :) I conclude that this is at best a dummy model from the fact that on the back under the logo apple it doesn't have an engraved model or sn number, and I very much doubt that they would stick a matte film on the display at the factory, that is, if it is supposed to be "like a photo from the factory" and if not, then I don't see a reason why they didn't show off the ipad on (or I know, because somehow you can't turn on the dummy model, or if it were an older version, it would show where the display actually is ;)
