Louis Vuitton has been experimenting with combining technology and high fashion for some time now. One such piece is a speaker simply called Speaker. Home Station, which is reminiscent of the legendary LV suitcases. The speaker is made of noble materials such as gold-plated metal, natural cowhide and, according to what the official LV website claims about it, should also offer excellent sound quality. However, information about who took care of the speakers themselves hidden inside the suitcase covered with the legendary LV canvas monogram is missing.
The speaker weighs 6,7 kilograms, measures 36 x 24 x 19 centimeters, and is made of wood, leather, and LV Canvas. It connects via Bluetooth, AirPlay, or cables. The price for this piece is €7500, or roughly 200 crowns. It is necessary to add that this is a piece from the Art De Vivre collection, which contains pieces that are true art and more than technique or materials, it is about collector's value. Most of these pieces only increase in value over time, making it an interesting investment, compared to classic clothing or electronics.
If 200 thousand for a speaker is too much for you, then here is a smaller one varianta, which combines Virgil Abloh's love for music and once again brings the design of the iconic Louis Vuitton suitcase into a speaker. This time it is a portable speaker with an integrated battery and a shoulder strap, which costs much less. The price for this piece is "only" 135 thousand crowns. For that you get a speaker measuring 23,5 x 9 x 16,5 cm, which again consists of only the most noble materials such as gold hardware, LV Canvas and cowhide. You can control the speaker using the application or using the top controls. Both pieces are available in selected boutiques, or online, and you will certainly be pleased that the postage is free this time.
Well don't buy it!😂
So in two years it will be sold for approx. 250-270 thousand, which is not a bad valuation :)
Great deal!😂
Sorry, but I don't really understand right now, earning 50-70 thousand by buying something and having it in the closet for two years, that's a 25% appreciation in two years... that doesn't seem bad to me, or what do you invest in with a better appreciation?
Roman, it's like something 2 years old and without a warranty, will you be able to sell it for 25-35% more? And will it still work? :)
yes that's right… this is not electronics but for some people it's art… it's like saying how is it possible that there are cars that sell for more after 20 years and without warranty than when they were new with warranty…
or not! If it were a certainty, everyone would want to appreciate their investment by 25%. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work that way
Anyway, do what you see fit, I'm just saying what I do. Nice day
… but it works, you just have to find the right buyer. People today have money "like a shell" and are willing to buy any .... thing. If you keep this rapper in the original packaging and unpacked, there is nothing to worry about. Tuition fees for a child at Oxford Uni. it will pay off with an overview :-)
Roman, old cars are more expensive for many reasons. Even the last existing functional pieces in the case of really old cars or newer ones because they are something exceptional.
I'll put the first two free serial octaves next to you. One was driven by Franta and the other was demonstrably driven by Kopecky, who also signed it. For the first one, the owner will even pay you to take it away, and the second one will be worth the price, as well as new four octaves in Laurin...
What you claim will have a 25-35% increase in price in two years (let's ignore inflation) is just a LV product. The only exception is that it is LV.
Are 40-50 year old suitcases more expensive than the current collection? Only if someone famous owned them….
So if I don't make less than 20 pieces and I don't give a bunch of them to "stars", then it will be ordinary consumption. Nothing important…
Yes, of course they are... look at farts, for example... please just explain to me why you are writing in a declarative manner about something you have no idea about? I would really be interested in what led you to this.
Read something about it before you start discussing a topic you have no idea about. Some value investing in handbags as better than investing in real estate. The evaluation is in tens of percent.
Adam, some value investing in watches as better than investing in real estate.
I didn't realize, however, that I would get more for a Seamaster 2013 that has been worn a few times and is in fact completely untouched :-)
I wouldn't even get much more for the Fortis IQ than they cost when they were on the market. And that is a very specific watch...
But when we return to the handbags you mentioned. I just donated an LV handbag to a brand, and last summer they charged it 10k, that's a quarter of the original price.
Indeed, handbags are expensive, but they are consumer goods, and then there are handbags that are not only expensive, but custom/unique in limited quantities. And they can really be considered as investment, but not ordinary LV.
Roman, I am writing in an informative way about something, the only thing I know about is that you claim about the same thing that in two years I will be evaluated 25-25% :-)
Tom, but your watch, even though I also have it in the James Bond edition, is ordinary just like LV handbags, that's why it is mentioned here which collection it is from. This collection is very limited and therefore these things simply increase in price. Just like the iconic Birkinki or Chanel... no one talks about the fact that the price of an ordinary LV handbag is increasing. Nice day.
Novels, watches and handbags belonged to Adam, who came up with the idea that investing in handbags is more profitable for some than in real estate.
As I already wrote, “So if they don’t make less than 20 pieces and give half of them to the “stars”, then it will be ordinary consumption. Nothing major…”, okay, I’ll raise it to max 100 pieces ;)
Smajlik Roman is of course right about this, only you don't know anything about fashion
