At the end of last work week Apple unexpectedly released another update iOS 14. Although it is only a small update fixing some bugs, such small improvements can make a nice patch in terms of speed and battery. Or, on the contrary, to improve the aforementioned. Users often complain about battery life, which channel i has addressedAppleBytes in the test located below this paragraph, for iPhone SE 1st generation, 6s, 7, 8, XR, 11 and SE 2nd generation.
Right at the beginning, it is worth mentioning that the vast majority of devices similar to the previous version, she offended. IPhone SE The 1st generation reached 1738 points, while the iOS 14.4.1 it was 1750. IPhone The 6s reports an even bigger drop, from 1770 to 1730. IPhone 7 even from 2283 to 2084. It is also worth mentioning that for this model iOS 14.4 scored 2453 points in the Geekbench test. Two small updates reduced the number of points by 15%. The drop in points is also reported iPhone 8 – from 2069 points to 2004. iPhone XR owners may also be disappointed with the battery test results, as the result dropped from 3133 to 2973. We would like to add here that on iOS 13.4, i.e. approximately a year ago, this model reached 3755 points. A slight decrease in the score is also reported by iPhone 11, which dropped from 3315 to 3274 points. On the other hand, there is one silver lining here, in the form of the 2nd generation iPhone SE. The youngest of the iPhones with Touch ID It scored 2137 points in the test, which is an improvement of 10 points compared to the previous version. As you can see, the results are really not good. What are your experiences with battery life on the current version? iOS?
It seems to me that even ios 14.5 beta green
I agree, I noticed that too. And it's quite noticeable...
4.2. horror, the flashlight falls before your eyes. Well, it's probably time to go to the competition. iKráp was enough.
that's so bad for you, hero :-D
Eat whatever you want, iKřáp 11 is already availableonesold out.
14.4.1 was much better with stamina - I'm watching that too.
It just pisses me off that 14.4.2 was recommended to everyone for security and then you get a pretty noticeable drop in stamina.
Next time, I'll...run for safety!
It's fine with me. 12 DecMax.
When you go to settings->battery, I have at least 2 tips there.
1. High brightness reduces endurance (at the same time, the brightness is set automatically and is currently somewhere in the middle).
2. Since the last upgrade, you have used the phone more than usual, which can shorten the battery life.
So there will be something to it :-).
of course, it's sloppy, but it's still a rhombus. :-)
iPhone 12Pro, battery life has noticeably decreased with similar use.
that's why I don't update the penultimate one or the one before it fixed the endurance error and I stay with this software, now the phone lasts almost two days with moderate use, I don't need a new one, so I don't update so I don't have to buy a battery unnecessarily
Are you going to stop using your phone so you don't lose your battery? :) I just don't charge the battery with every charging cycle ;)
How did you deduce that he won't use the phone? He uses it as before, i.e. sparingly, and by not installing the update he does not shorten his standby time, he does not have to charge more often and the battery is less damaged by charging
I have a significant decrease in endurance for max 12, on 14.4.1 I usually went 2 days without charging, now with the same use I charge it every evening, because it definitely wouldn't last on the 2nd day. I hope they fix it soon, otherwise there's no reason to keep it.
i have iphone 7 and the battery is draining terribly fast
Status unchanged at 8+, i.e. satisfaction.
