About Intel's negative marketing campaign, which is focused on new processors from the family Apple Silicon, we have written several times already. Intel has been fighting against it for several months Applu and in various short or longer videos he points out the shortcomings that, according to him, the chips have Apple Silicon (i.e Apple M1) suffers compared to chips (and laptops equipped with them) from Intel. That's marketing, though, and it seems that on the business side, Intel has the s Applem completely different plans.

As it turns out, Intel is planning to build two new manufacturing plants in Arizona, which will operate under the newly announced “Intel Foundry Services” program. Intel is looking for all sorts of ways to help itself, given that the processor field has been relatively poor in recent years and if it weren’t for a certain market (and contractual) inertia, Intel’s position would definitely not be as strong as it still is. ProThrough this program, Intel wants to offer its production capacities to other clients and thus become one of the main suppliers of processors in euroAtlantic area. And according to the CEO of Intel, one of these clients could be Apple.

According to Intel, it intends to contact its CEO Apple as a potential customer with the vision that he could in the future processors from the family Apple Silicon manufactured in the USA. Apple it currently uses exclusively the manufacturing capacity of Taiwanese giant TSMC, but if Intel offers competitive terms, there could be interest in "Made in USA" chips due to efforts to diversify its supply chain and manufacturing capacity.

It could thus be a kind of extension of the relationship between Applewith Intel, which in recent months has been receiving quite a beating. Apple in the next two years, it plans to completely abandon the classic x86 processors from Intel, so cooperation could move to the manufacturing sector.
