When I look back on my childhood, 60 GB HDDs took my breath away. But times are completely different. Western Digital has come up with a new generation of hard drives with EAMR technology. The company has been selling these drives for years, but now it has added a new capacity, namely 20 TB. You can read more details here . The drives are supposed to have a lifespan of 2,5 million hours and are covered by a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, the price is not yet known.
