Underground lakes have been discovered on Mars

The Mars Express probe, which was sent to the red planet by the European Space Agency, discovered liquid, and apparently salty, water under the ice in the south polar region of the lake. There have been rumors that there could be lakes in this area for about two years. This has now been confirmed, raising the possibility once again that there could be life on Mars.
