If we had to choose one technological thing whose arrival could create a completely new market segment, then it would undoubtedly be the so-called smart glasses or, if you prefer, augmented reality glasses. The closest to putting this product into practice was Google a few years ago with its Google Glass project. Since then, no one has really tried to create versatile augmented reality glasses and only a few models of glasses with AR have been created, which are always intended only for certain sports, such as Oakley AirWave for snowboarding and skiing or Form for swimmers.
In recent years, there has been a lot of speculation that hisancand how to create a completely new market segment Apple and is preparing its own version of smart glasses. They should be an extension of the iPhone similar to what is now the case Apple Watch and should find their main application in city navigation, making calls, reading text messages, sports and other activities for which it is not absolutely necessary to use iPhone.
In the following video you can see what life could be like with AR Apple Glass look in practice and how glasses would make our lives easier.
Interesting concept. I would also expect something…
The idea of the concept is interesting, but the execution is tragic. If the glasses will function as AR navigation (which I assume they will), then everything will need to be invented so that it does not distract a person from what is happening on the road. And what if I see a bold line and a 10-meter "sign" that I should turn right across half of my field of vision. Of course it's clear that apple it takes design to perfection. I wonder how it will turn out one day. Has there been any information about the performance date?
