Mac mini is in many cases an unjustly underrated machine, but it has relatively great potential. Satechi is very aware of this potential, which is why today the company has come up with a new useful accessory, designed primarily for professional users. It is a stand and hub in one, which not only looks great, but can Mac mini according to its creators, turn it into a great workstation.
Satechi has a number of useful accessories, peripherals and more for Macs. The latest stand and hub with USB-C tooneactivity for Mac owners mini to make life easier, save desk space and streamline workflows. This is the first product of its kind that Satechi has added to its portfolio. For Mac mini The Satechi stand connects via a USB-C cable on the back. On the front of the stand, there are seven conveniently accessible ports with various uses.

USB-C portem with transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, three USB-A 3.0 ports with transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, an SD card reader, a microSD card reader (transfer speeds of up to 104 Mbps) and a 3,5mm headphone jack jackem. The stand is also equipped with integrated ventilation holes, so your Mac mini there is no risk of overheating even when connected to multiple peripherals at the same time. As you can see in the photo gallery of the article, it is possible to combine several stands and computers with each other, which can create a truly impressive workstation. The price of the stand is approximately 1850 crowns, which is a relatively pleasant amount. It is not yet certain when (and whether) the new Satechi stand and hub will also be offered by domestic retailers, at Satechi website i Amazonu but it is already available.
"Several stands and computers can be combined together to create a really powerful and impressive workstation".
Well, isn't that a bit silly? Placing more computers on top of one another does not create a powerful workstation. The power cannot be shared so that it can be made into one workstation, it will always be multiple computers that I can use at the same time, except for some computing stuff, render farm, etc. One workstation does not really come out of it.
I'm not an expert, but if I already have the "farm", wouldn't it be possible to start virtualization on it and then you already have the performance in the suceta and you can use it for whatever you want?
Virtualization works the other way around. One large computer is divided into a smaller one. Connecting them together, so that several computers appear as one, is a much more complicated thing and is not used for casual users. And even a "graphic artist" is, from this point of view, a non-user.
Libor thanks for the explanation.
What a stand that core.
8 stands – 8 core comp.
Ahem, how I honor it here apple users are usually not the sharpest pencils in the pen, but this is a cut even on apple ratios.
We are talking about a port expander. Its effect on computer performance is exactly zero.
The sharp no apple sheep - you have to be sharper because you don't like theapple the computer constantly fucks, updates, hacks, viruses and the like. U.S apple-the sheep tribute leaves more time for work and we don't have to be so sharp.
You can prove me wrongapple is the computer constantly hacking and fucking, or is it just some kind of self-delusion?
kind of long years of work on both
Ah, so in Apple "the more ports, the more power" applies to the world??? it's just an additional module with ports, no processor, nothing, I don't even know how such performance would be scaled and how complicated the module would have to be connected to the original computer?? So I'm going to add 5 port hubs to my old gaming computer and turn it into a gaming super cannon for 4K games :D
Bjorn, take credit from Zonka and buy a k nowonesomething from Applu. You jealous haters...
The author is a woman, let's be tolerant.
I also didn't understand how ports increase computer performance. If there were external graphics in the stand, I won't say so. That would be great and for the same price :)
So, please.onelet's go aside nesta special mention about "executive workstations" :-) ... The box is very nice, it's a shame they didn't put some other "accessories", external graphics probably wouldn't fit there, but you need a disk/ssd, or a DVD drive, or you need a second screen.
I could imagine some more "industrial" equipment in the same design, like a logical analyzer, etc... it would "stack" nicely on the table, there would be no unnecessary cables anywhere.
DVD drive ? WTF? does anyone use it?
And why wouldn't he use it, you futurist... :)
Mechanics and a position for a disc would be nice, plus some output for more monitors
I also buy a Plotno disk in an iMac for 40+ sheep
To get out of this applu didn't break! :-D You wanted it so much, didn't you? But unfortunately, you were unsuccessful. I paid about 300 thousand for it Apple. I have 3 Macs. And it doesn't bother me at all. I'll make money for it in a month. Come on.
I don't understand the stacking of iMacs on top of each other... They wanted to make it super clusterycomputer? :D I think OWC used to make a similar, but taller "box", but they had a lot more ports and you could put an HDD/SSD inside. This doesn't seem very meaningful to me.
