About the new 16” MacBooku Pro has been heard a lot in recent weeks. Information about it is being obtained by both the world's leading analysts and developers from the latest versions of macOS Catalina, which Apple is preparing for his arrival. Despite all the preparations, however, the machine did not arrive, which raises a simple question in many apple growers - why? However, there may be a very simple answer to this.

Recently, we have not only heard information about the hardware specifications of the new product, but also that its production is starting to get underway, which is expected to fully explode in the fourth quarter of this year. This was confirmed today by the Asian portal DigiTimes, stating that the main manufacturer of the new product is to be Taiwanese Quanta. ComputerHowever, production may not yet mean (and probably does not mean) the machine will be released on store shelves soon, which is something that more and more analysts are beginning to agree on. As the most likely explanation for the current actions Applu – i.e. production without a show – they see it as the company's effort to create the largest possible stock for the US before December 15. This is precisely the day that President Trump's new tariffs will come into effect, which are also expected to significantly affect Macs. For every Mac imported from China to the US, it should Apple pay 15% to the state treasury, which is not exactly a small amount. And it is precisely by producing and stocking a sufficient number of units early that it apparently wants to avoid these duties - that is miniAt least in the first few months, when Macy's will not be able to ship from any country other than China.

A similar strategy is kind of friendly to end customers as well. It should not happen that after the start of sales, which we will most likely see sometime at the beginning of next year, it will have Apple problems with production or lack of goods. In the fourth quarter, it will catch all the production flies without any pressure, thanks to which it will cost absolutely nothing in the way of trouble-free mass production. Avoiding customs duties will then be good for customers because they will not have to pay this fee Apple somehow reflected in the final price.
