Press Release: The issue of electronic data security has long been not only related to computers, but increasingly also to mobile phones. As an essential part of the work of ordinary users or entrepreneurs, a mobile phone can hide data of incalculable value. Whether it is photos, documents, passwords or communication with business partners. The CAMELOT mobile application offers a comprehensive solution for phone security so that no unauthorized person can access sensitive data. And from November, not only on iOS, but also on mobile devices with the Android operating system.

How much do you value the photos you have on your mobile phone? What about passwords for electronic banking or other accounts? The price of this data can be precisely calculated in money, or have an immeasurable value in the form of memories. Mobile phones store more and more data that users do not want to lose. A group of Czech developers created the CAMELOT application, the primary function of which is the protection of mobile phone data. According to Vladimír Kajš, the author of the application, the name was not chosen randomly. "The name is inspired by the legendary castle of King Arthur. Thanks to the sophisticated method of security, when using the application, the mobile phone (and the data stored in it) becomes a real impregnable fortress.", says Kajš.

The CAMELOT application is a comprehensive tool using multi-level security, used to securely store all types of data – photos and videos, documents, passwords, ID and other cards, health records and other files. In addition, it can also design a really strong password, including the unique Marker function, making it easy to read.

It also includes a secure chat with other users of the application, allowing you to permanently delete a sent message at a set time. From now on, users can communicate across both platforms and get the best of several separate mobile applications.

The application comprehensively addresses the possibility of loss of administructor password. The user can use the mechanism to unlock the application using 4-factor authentication (“someone I trust”). In the case of CAMELOT, this is done using digital seals distributed to trusted contacts. In an emergency, multiple “seals” are entered into the application at the same time, similar to when the Czech Crown Jewels are opened with seven key rings. The seals do not have to be distributed to individuals. The user can print them in the form of QR codes and store them in a safe, for example. Another use of smart seals is to open a CAMELOT backup if the user forgets the password to the data backup.

Everything the app stores is protected by the same cryptographic mechanisms used by banks or militaries (AES 256, RSA 2048, Shamir algorithm).

The author of CAMELOT is Vladimír Kajš, an experienced SIM card expert. The development team comes from Zlín and, in addition to professional programmers, also included experts in cryptography, graphics, animators or marketing experts.

CAMELOT can be downloaded for free for basic use, and the full version costs 129 crowns in Baťa.
