It's only been a few days since a very accurate analyst at TF International Securities let himself be heard, right Apple na příští či popříští rok chystá iPady a MacBooky with a completely new type of displays. Specifically, this should be Mini-LED panels, which have almost the same display properties as OLED, but are narrower and less energy-intensive. Yesterday, one of the major display suppliers confirmed these plans Applu – specifically the company Epistar.

The company's CEO Chin-Yung Fan told the Asian portal DigiTimes that his company's clients are developing laptops, tablets, smartphones and monitors with Mini-LED backlighting, the production of which is to be carried out by Epistar. Although its boss did not reveal the exact names of the clients, given that he is probably most often associated with Epistar Apple, who is preparing similar products, it seems very likely that the head of Epistar had him in mind.

Although they are Mini-LED displays are still in their infancy, and sources from leading analysts are already claiming that their production will be relatively expensive, which will ultimately affect the prices of the products themselves. That is why it is more than likely that Apple deploys minimálně ze začátku jen na high-endové produkty typu iPady Pro či MacBooky Pro. Nový typ displeje by ale zajisté našel využití u iMaců Pro nebo třeba Apple Display Pro XDR, or in its next generation. Over time, however, the displays could also be extended to other products, as it is clear that the production price will gradually decrease.

As I mentioned above, the first products with Mini-LED displays should be avoided AppAccording to Kuo, it will probably be available in the last quarter of next year, maxat least the first half of the year after next. It will depend mainly on how the AppIt depends on whether the development of the new product will succeed and, consequently, whether problems will arise during mass production that would postpone the performance.
