Apple on your yesterday Keynote introduced a pair of brand new tablets. Smaller iPad Pro has an 11-inch display, the larger one 12,9. Both Apple tablets offer a number of interesting new features, great features and design changes. Let's take a look at how this year's two new products differ from their predecessors.

One of the most noticeable changes is that the bezels have given way significantly to the display. It took the top and bottom frames of the iPad Pro as its own, and the side ones got thinner as well - Apple your 12,9-inch iPad Pro He proudly compared it to a sheet of paper in terms of size. The new model is not only thinner, but also slimmer compared to the previous ones. The height of the smaller model has not changed much, but it has been slightly widened in the interest of a larger display.
(Note – according to available information from Xcode (The RAM should be 1 GB for the 6TB version, and 4 GB for the other versions. However, since these numbers have not yet been officially confirmed, they are not included in the table.)
As for the display, it remained larger variaThe design of this year's iPad Pro is practically unchanged: the resolution is 2732 × 2048 pixels at 264 ppi, in terms of appearance only the corners have been rounded. The smaller version has a 0,5-inch larger display diagonal, its resolution is 2388 × 1668 pixels at 264 ppi. Like last year's iPads, this year's ones are also enriched with new gestures in iOS 12 for opening Docku, switching between apps, or opening Control Center.
It also disappeared from this year's iPad Pro Home button with function Touch ID, which was replaced by a more advanced and secure Face ID – this works in both vertical and horizontal positions on both models. In the place where it was on the previous models Lightning port, located Apple USB-C portThis is used for charging, but also for transferring image files from external drives or connecting some monitors with resolutions up to 5K.

Underlined, summed up – this year's iPad Pros can definitely be described as a revolution and not just an evolution. However, first impressions and parameters on paper are one thing, and use in practice is another and far more important. So we'll see how this product fares in the hands of reviewers and if it lives up to the high expectations. By the way, alone Apple yesterday at his presentation he presented it as a great replacement for a classic computer. Whether this statement is true, however, only time will tell.
"Alone, anyway Apple yesterday at his presentation he presented it as a great replacement for a classic computer. Whether this statement is true, however, only time will tell"
This apple does it present minialmost two years. So time had to tell…..the question is what.
Whoever designed the design with the protruding lens should be hanged by the balls in a draft! On the other hand, whether a tablet can replace a computer - definitely yes, but then it still has a few flies. When it will be possible to pay monthly for access to the movie database, just like music, it will definitely be a full-fledged substitute for an ordinary person who will use it for entertainment. The only thing that bothers me is that so far the music database does not have a complete offer of all music and each database has something extra that you cannot play on the other or even some of the music is not on any of them. It would be nice if there was one database, but probably unrealistic
Indeed Apple it goes where it is Microsoft for a year now. And now I don't give a shit... although sometimes I think that's his goal.
I mean visionary. Touch device with removable keyboard and pen. Just Surface (or ten year old convertible laptop concepts/products). With OsX, the path would be more complicated, because the system is simply not ready for touch, so it goes there with the tablet.
And that also brings limitations. iOS is not a platform for work. Now I don't mean writing an email, reading a website, watching a movie, but normal work, like software development, modeling, graphics, etc. Even drawing is useless for a professional and will work with a completely different device.
So yes, a tablet can replace a computer, but for the people who consume the content.
"With OsX, the path would be more complicated, because the system is simply not ready for touch, so it goes there with the tablet." MS Windows even Linux is ahead in this decade :-)
Otherwise Apple has the goal of making money, not selling a tablet that people use to replace a PC and that way it will remain separate forever! The tablet is in a case Apple just a "big mobile", so people will still buy Macs and iPads ;-)
I agree, tablets in general are the future, but since Jobs proudly showed off his first tablet, this device has only moved forward last year, thank God. Unfortunately, it is clear that someone who knew how to find the right idea or had a vision of their own cannot be replaced. It is surprising that other manufacturers are reacting even worse. On the other hand, I am not so surprised when Microsoft was unable to bring a tablet to the consumer segment years before the iPad and they are not able to do so even with the ambitious AR glasses project. That strange man Jobs really moved the IT world.
In September, iPhones Lightning and in October iPads with USB-C? Well, it is clear that in the newApple have a good idea in your head.
