Group FaceTime calls have been in high demand for a long time, and with the advent of iOS 12.1 and macOS 10.14.1 Mojave we have themoneFaceTime makes it easy to have group calls with up to 32 people at once. So in today's guide, let's take a look at how to use group FaceTime calls, which devices support them, and other things you should know.

To start, we'll look at the devices that support Group FaceTime calls. From the iPhone lineup, this includes every iPhone 6s or later; if you want to use Group FaceTime on iPad, prepare iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad Mini 4. All these devices must of course be updated to iOS 12.1If you have older devices than those listed above, only group ones will work. audiocalls.

How to make group FaceTime calls

First, we need to make sure that we have FaceTime on our device activated. Let's go to the native application Settings, here we click on the box FaceTime and we make sure there is a service active. After verification, all you have to do is open the application on your desktop FaceTime. In the application, click on in the upper right corner plus icon and add all users for whom we want to start a group call. After that, we will only choose in the lower part of the screen Audio call or Video call. You can also start a Group FaceTime call from within a group in iMessage. Just press at the top of the screen button FaceTime.

After we start the group call, all we have to do is wait for the other participants to accept it. Using the star icon on the left, we can easily add effects. Using the three-dot icon on the other side, we call up other call options, including the option to add other participants to the call.

Group FaceTime calls are really cool in my opinion. It's definitely worth at least a try - I think they can easily replace some communication programs, such as Skype, etc. Let's see what you have for us Apple coming in the next FaceTim updates.
