Unfortunately, this only works on paper. I have a Dell Precision for work for about 70k and it's really slow, with a crappy keyboard, zero battery life, and it even crashes. excell unless I restart it twice a day. In contrast, my personal mac pro 2015 rocket.

I do not want Apple fully defend, but I think the problem is buried elsewhere. If I take the price for the 256GB version in the USA – $1399 and multiply it by the current dollar exchange rate – CZK 22.75, I arrive at the amount of CZK 31, which is a difference of approx. 827,25 CZK. So I don't think it's so "exaggerated" just because Apple, but due to the fact that such duties and taxes must be paid to the Czech Republic for such products.
As for the introduction of the new MacBooku Air, I personally don't like the removal of USB ports. I had a hard time getting used to it with Proček, but it's with Air I would expect that due to its light weight and portability for school lectures, meetings, etc., they would simply leave the USB there so that users don't have to carry adapters, but just insert the USB and drag their data over when needed.
Taxes and duties are also paid on competing laptops, and you can still find an NTB for that money with a 2x better cpu, 2x as many frames or 2x as much ssd, so the problem will probably be elsewhere.
Of course, no one is forcing anyone to buy Apple :)

Well, they'll be Amber Lake, otherwise they wouldn't have the great battery life. I don't see Uprime as such, but it's still a pretty ugly dual-core, so it won't lose that much against the basic PRO.
Amber lake has half cache against Kaby, minismall L1 and L2, it will be noticeable in performance, I'll wait for benchmarks but I'm guessing 30% less than MBP 2017. And that's just a weakness. From the current AirIt's more of a step aside than a significant upgrade considering the price.

I still use it. Macbook Pro 2015 13″ in CTO configuration – 3.1 GHz i7, 16gb RAM and 512gb SSD.. still with a normal keyboard and ports (yes, I “only” have TB2, but I don’t have to have x reduction to TB Ethernet or Firewire, which I need in pro audio area).. I still have it in Apple Care.
