Although the first version is iOS 12 praised by many users for its quality, several very interesting features that Apple presented at WWDC or along with the new iPhones, they are missing from it. But they will arrive in its first major update, which version iOS 12.1. you Apple he has been testing intensively in recent weeks and it seems he is already at the finish line.

Although the exact release date Apple for new systems, except for their first versions, it does not state this, considering the intensity of the release beta versions and the decreasing number of new features in each of them, we are after the release of the 5th beta iOS 12.1 last week they assumed that we were a few days away from the final version being released, maxat least one to two weeks. And this speculation was confirmed and clarified by foreign operators, who have been waiting for the launch of eSIM support for new iPhones since AppI need accurate information.
eSIM support will be available for iPhones XS, XS Max Max and XR:
According to available information, operators in the US, Europe and Asia have confirmed to many of their customers that the final version iOS 12.1 Apple will be released on October 30th keynoteSo if you're looking forward to group FaceTime calls, new Emoji, real-time background blur on new iPhonech or just eSIM support, thanks to which it will be possible tooneIt's now possible to use two numbers on one iPhone, so you can start celebrating. We're only hours away from the release.

In the Czech Republic, we will only be able to enjoy eSIM through T-Mobile, which, according to its words from last week, is already ready for launch. As for the other two Czech operators, they are working intensively on the preparation of eSIM for the new iPhones in order to enable this option for their clients as soon as possible.
How unexpected.. 😀 I was expecting them to link it to Keynote as they usually do..
It would still like it Apple Pay ... and the autumn will be more cheerful right away.. ;-)
And you don't know how it will work when I activate esim? Will I be using a phone with 2 SIM cards? One will be esim, which is activated by the operator, and the other normal physical one from another operator will be in suflik? Will it work like this?
Given that you write in Slovak and if you are from Slovakia, this option will not apply to you yet. Slovak operators have not yet implemented eSIM.
However, if you live in the Czech Republic, TMobile is just waiting for the release iOS 12.1 and immediately offers eSIM. Fortunately, it is easy to switch with one of your numbers, for example, to an operator that offers eSIM. I will do it that way. So, as you write, one physical SIM and the second number on the eSIM – both active.
If you want to read more about it, here it is nicely described:

but on the ESIM, I would save only one that you don't mind that it won't work in states other than CR, or where I'm not with the local operator... that is. Czech number great in CR, but when traveling to Slovakia, for example, the phone becomes a brick if you only have an ESIM
How did you come up with that David?
that the phone abroad cannot send eSIM identification to the network?
Thank you Pavel for the answer.
Ok, so the primary one I will use is the Swiss esim, since I live here and swisscom wrote to me that I am just waiting for the release from and the secondary t-com classic in Suflik. so they could do this in 2018, I don't think so..)
And I am also interested in the fact that Mr. David..
so I checked it with tmobile and luckily it's different than I had the original information. esim will also work abroad, it will look like a normal sim there, there is no need for the roaming partner to also charge esim
The error is there as usual, so it would be time to fix it.
Especially if they do something about the WiFi, because that's on me iPhone Xs is a disaster. Where I get 9.7Mbps with the iPad Pro 250″, I get XNUMXMbps with the iPhonem barely 18Mb/s, which is quite sad for a device costing 30. Does anyone else have this problem? I found a little on the net, but suddenly there is silence on the path and no one is solving it.
iPhone I've had the XS for about a month and I have no problems with WiFi at all. I have UPC at home with a speed of 500Mb and in various meters (SpeedTest) it shows me full speed. When I download a 5GB file from Ulozto, it takes about 2-3 minutes. Apparently some glitch or incompatibility on the router side, or you're using 2,4GHz instead of 5GHz..
I'm on 5GHz, but I can only get the highest speed about 3 meters from the router. As soon as I move away to say 9 meters (still without a wall), the speed drops dramatically.
I have the same problem. iPhone XS, wifi at home on UPC is really very slow... There is no problem elsewhere.
The internet recommends a factory reset, which I don't really want to do. iPhone I set it up as new when I bought it and I don't want to set it up/download everything again. I'll wait until tomorrow when it's supposed to come out. iOS 12.1, and I'll see if that solves anything.
I tried it on the other side of the house, where I have half the signal, and it measured 290 Mb, so it's probably ok. I have routers AirPort Extreme from Appyou.
But I can tell you that 99% of all my problems were with backups on iCloudI don't know if any errors or inconsistencies are transferred from the older iPhone to the newer one through the backup (especially regarding settings), but since every new iPhone I set it up "from scratch" without backups, so I have no problems at all. Such iPhone For example, my 7 kept turning off, calls were often dropped, etc. When I did a factory reset and avoided restoring a backup, it was suddenly a completely different phone...
Well, I'm mainly curious if it will be released Apple Pay for the Czech Republic in iOS 12.1 that Lenka Šubrtová
apple pay could already come toonecne
Apple pay from tooneright?
How about this siri in Czech, KONECOME ON!
You are demented :D Siri It simply won't be in Czech, they won't do it for the sake of 10 million people.
Very intelligent behavior, to berate someone just because, that's how he expressed his opinion. :)
Za Siri I would also be very happy in Czech. And I don't mind the possible designation "dement" :-)
Hello, is anyone seeing a problem where iPhone disconnects from wifi when idle. I have had the 8 Plus since November 2017 and everything has always been fine. From iOS 12 I notice that the phone always disconnects after a while and after unlocking it takes about three seconds to reconnect to wifi.
Thanks for the responses
I'm waiting for an eSIM 🙏
You have no information about apple pay? Will he come to the Czech Republic?
forget. Czech banks barely manage to feed their foreign mothers and they still have money to spare apple for being graciously allowed to use apple pay? I'm not surprised that they're not hot for it, and they probably won't be.
But please, Apple pay many Czech banks will start supporting as soon as possible.
