This was done by none other than the experts from iFixit, who always take a few of the new products under their microscope after their release and evaluate how their internal layout is compatible with the device.oneents, as well as possible repairability. So how do you get a new iPhone XR led?

If you were to take apart the iPhone XR, you might have a problem removing the display itself. Like the iPhone XS and XS Max Due to the gasket used, it holds the body quite tightly and removing it is one of the riskiest things you will face after the analysis.
After removing the display, you will immediately be impressed by the layout and shapes of the computer.onents, as they differ slightly from the premium line. The most striking difference is undoubtedly the shape of the battery, which is classically rectangular, while in the XS and XS models Max Apple used an L-shaped battery. Despite its standard shape, however, the battery life is the same and in some cases better than that of this year's largest model. Its capacity is 2942 mAh, which is 284 mAh more than the iPhone XS (which has 2658 mAh) and 232 mAh less than the larger iPhone XS Max ) it has 3174 mAh). The motherboard also has a different shape, which is more reminiscent of the one from last year's iPhone 8 than one from the X series. Perhaps because of this, iFixit was not afraid to say that when looking inside the iPhone XR, it seems to them like a hybrid between iPhonem X and 8.

Whether it's the modules for Face ID, the camera module, the Taptic Engine providing haptic feedback, or the coil for wireless charging, everything looks more or less the same or minialmost very similar to what Apple used in premium models.

And what did you earn? iPhone XR repairability score by iFixit experts? You could say that on iPhone standard. It received exactly 6 points out of 10, with 10 being the best possible score. Its repairability is therefore relatively good. iFixit especially appreciated the fact that if the display is damaged, it is not a big problem to replace it, since it does not require almost any major hardware interventions in the phone body. On the other hand, the glass back can cause problems, the replacement of which requires rebuilding the entire inside of the phone into a different body.
