Estimates for this work were set at between 7 and 10 thousand dollars. The resulting price is therefore nakonec many times higher. The painting, called Portrait of Edmond Belamy, was created by Obvious, based in Paris. The creation was made using a special algorithm and a dataset of 15 portraits painted between the 000th and 14th centuries. You can watch the auctioned painting in the video below.
