View of Apple Watch se has changed quite significantly since their introduction a few years ago. While initially many people saw them as a supplement to sports, they are now increasingly seen as a health assistant that constantly monitors some of your vital signs and, in the event of a problem, is able to help by alerting you or calling for first aid. This very useful feature of the watch is also Apple is trying to improve more and more, which was confirmed by this year's model equipped with, among other things, a function to detect a fall and a special crown with an ECG sensor. And thanks to the fall detection, the watch was partially credited with saving the first human life.

A recent case of saving a life took place last Friday in Sweden and was first reported by the local paper Aftonbladet. A thirty-four-year-old man, who was at home alone, standing by the stove and cooking, according to available information, suddenly began to experience a huge pain in his back, which was so strong that at one point it completely paralyzed him and the man collapsed for a moment. The watch recognized his fall and after a few seconds offered him the option to call for help. The man therefore decided to call his relative who lives very close to his apartment through them, who immediately turned off the stove, which could have caused a fire in the apartment due to the food on it, and took the man to the hospital, where he was given morphine.

The man himself describes the whole incident as a terrible experience, as he was in pain.chromeso much so that he was practically unable to move in the first few moments. The automatic activation of the option to call for help was therefore definitely very beneficial - even more so when in this case it was a matter of time due to the running kitchen appliance.

It can be expected that similar stories will increase significantly in the coming weeks and months as the watches begin to spread among owners. MiniThere is currently a shortage of them on our market, and the Apple on its website it guarantees delivery in up to 2 to 3 weeks. However, the situation may change in this regard, of course.

I thought that fall detection is only from the age of 65. Or have you deliberately set an older age in your health data?
You can't read.. The detection is turned on by default from 65+, but you can set it yourself whenever you want.. I also set it, you never know..
Also, I have you, otherwise I would have overlooked this detail for good 😂. But otherwise I have been able to read for over 30 years, thanks for asking.
