It's called Unravel, and according to their inventors, it should be very fast. The charger consists of a total of three square parts, which are interconnected by joints, thanks to which they can be folded on top of each other. Each of the parts is equipped with its own 10W coil, which is used for wireless charging of a compatible device. As the charger also supports the widespread Qi standard, you can charge practically any device on it.
You receive power to the charger via a USB-C cable, which can be used to charge new devices, for example. MacBookand MacBooky Pro. Thanks to this, you will no longer have to worry about packing an additional cable specifically for the charger. It is also nice to be able to create a stand, which is created by simply folding three parts into the shape of a kind of roof. Both side parts of the charger have retractable holders for your phone, thanks to which your smartphone will beone stand on the charger without any problems. You will appreciate this especially when FaceTime calls with friends or family. It is quite interesting that the manufacturer claims that the charger is compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 and 4, even without the magnetic “dimple” that appears from time to time in chargers of a similar type.

So if you're looking for an interesting wireless charger, you may have found your favorite. You can still contribute to it on Kickstarter, thanks to which you can secure it in the first wave, and just for fun - the charger can be yours for a contribution of only $69, which is definitely less than what it would cost Apple was selling AirPower. And who knows, maybe the charger will be a success on store shelves and in a few months it will also appear in Apple Storech. Besides, similar incidents have happened several times in the past.
I don't understand this charger impasse at all. The only place where it makes sense is, for example, built-in in a car.
I, on the other hand, agree with your logic of thinking that a person will not use it
Dead end? You have to see further than just this toy. How about putting your phone down on the table when visiting anywhere in a cafe or restaurant - the system is built directly into the property... in the meeting rooms... etc. etc. etc.
