About entry Apple Pay the domestic market has been discussed more and more intensively in recent weeks, mainly thanks to a recent report from Economic newspaper, whose source talked about the arrival of this payment service by the end of this year. With this information in mind, we therefore decided some time ago to approach the largest Czech banks with a question about the launch Apple Pay in the Czech Republic it seems. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that they are preparing for its arrival, they did not confirm anything further, so it was quite difficult to conclude whether we will see it in a week, a month or a year. However, our reader Lukáš (to whom we hereby thank) sent us several very interesting screenshotwhich confirm that it is Apple Pay outside the door and we could expect it very soon.

According to Lukáš, the region on his iPhone is set to Great Britain, in which Apple Pay of course it works. However, when he tried to enter today Wallet to load a Czech card, he got to its verification and contractual terms written in Czech, which clearly shows that it is Apple Pay very close indeed. This was then confirmed by Komerční banka on its Twitter account, where, in addition to explaining that "clicking through" to the terms and conditions was caused by an error, it stated that the entire Czech Republic is preparing for the arrival Apple Pay. However, her tweet also stated that the launch is in the hands of Applu. On the other hand, if KB had at least partially no idea how close or far the launch was Apple Pay is, most likely she would not be in too much of a hurry to implement the contractual terms in Czech into the service.
After receiving the photos, we immediately decided to contact the press department of Komerční banka, which we contacted Apple Pay they asked. That pretty quickly sent us the following statement:
"We do everything to enable our clients to pay with Apple Pay as soon as possible. KB wants to be in the first wave of Czech banks to launch this service. However, the exact date is not known at this time.
Although they are currently hovering around the launch date Apple Pay ambiguities, toonec this year seems a little less unrealistic. Whether the launch Apple determined this year, we could find out as early as November 1, when they will announce the financial results for the past quarter. It is on this occasion that he announces a lot of similar things. The second option is when we could be notified Apple Pay in the Czech Republic, there is a conference at which Apple will introduce new iPads. However, its date is still shrouded in mystery. So let's be surprised, maybe this time pleasantly.
That's another article about shit😄 the only thing they told you was that they would support the service after arriving in the Czech Republic...
Well, we will see it very soon, I personally guess that most likely with the release of 12.1.

It would be interesting to study those terms... I would expect there to be an effective/validity date of the document on the date the service is launched. Or even compare them with the current conditions on the website - i.e. whether the conditions displayed in the authorization of the card for Pay they "pull" from the same source as those on the web, or they are already "future" conditions.
BTW, aren't the banks required to publish the new terms on the website in advance?
KB has really stupid conditions there, they are the same as for Android, you just have to use the expression PAY Android is listed there Pay.
If everyone is ready and the payment card registration process is already functional, including contractual conditions, etc., then it really looks like November / December. This again confirms the words of a high-ranking source from the banking environment, see article from HN.
I am not an analyst or expert in this regard, but according to simple deduction, we are practically only waiting for iOS 12.1, where it will be released in software.
Maybe we and Belgium will join Germany. https://twitter.com/kkrdvc/status/1052158324844752896
Popcorn in one hand and Coke in the other, I'm ready. It will be a comedy again :))
At the same time, we already know that it will be in February, they just did not specify the year.
Thank God, foronethere will be peace. The Socks will be slyly putting their scrap digital devices from the market or havechat with a giant paddle with a shattered display and hoping that everyone in the queue at the checkout in Kauf noticed it. Hallelujah. Praise the heavens. All that's missing is having an account at the most terrible bank in the Czech Republic. Well, the Czech Republic is maybe even worse, so the second most terrible 😂😂😂
Oops, it would Apple sheep tooneCould they pay with their mobile phones? That's news to me 😂
Adam Zelený that he wouldonereally?
not a word about SK again..
Well, Tpč, it's your duty to publish an article at least twice a year about how things are going. 100% sure that Apple Pay will arrive in the Czech Republic in just a few days and that everything is ready to go? Everything is ready and if you ask the banks as the “best website in the Czech Republic”, they will tell you the same as last time and laugh at you. Or you can write again to Applu, where they will tell you that they know nothing, but if you want, you can look at the sites Apple.com/cz as they wrote to you last time 😂 comedy this 😂
Again?
I asked my banking advisor at KB, who is probably as crazy about everything apple as I am, and apparently KB is only in the second wave, there are two "smaller" Czech banks in the first... but who carewith when we have boon.
Konemaybe I'll see it 🤷♂️🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊
If you have a Samsung with the UK version of Android and the Czech registry setoneI can click through the application. Samsung Pay through agreeing to the terms and conditions, entering the card from mbank to entering the address. Everything is completely in Czech. When it comes to the address, the application starts to twitch, saying it is not yet supported. So Samsung pay Will it come soon? Has mbank confirmed it? Probably not... Localization and a functional application are one thing, launching operations is something completely different.
So adjust the opinion of your bank advisor - KB repeatedly declares that it will be in the 1st wave
