If the owners want something Apple Watch they've been calling practically since they hit the market, they're definitely third-party watch faces. But you Apple does not support it on its watches, so the only thing that can be set on the display are watch faces created by developers in AppThere have been reports several times that support for third-party watch faces is on the horizon, but all such rumors have been confirmed.onec unfortunately proved to be futile. However, even that cannot stop the developers. A few days ago, two of them boasted of their success, when on Apple Watch they got their own dials.

Many of you may already know developer Steve Troughton-Smith from our articles. Not so long ago, for example, he managed to iOS 12.1 revealed that the new iPad Pros should come with 4K support for external monitors. This same man then managed to modify WatchKit for it last week Apple Watch so that it is now able to create its own watch faces. Although they are quite trivial at the moment, it is great news that they could have been created at all. You can view them all in the gallery below this paragraph.

Developer David Smith also achieved a similar success, as he managed to create quite nice minimalistic dials, one of which he even showed off on his Twitter. You can see its appearance in the gallery in the last photo.

At this point, it's hard to say whether we'll see support for third-party watch faces in the coming months or years, or if the developers' current efforts are completely wasted. But if Apple gave the green light to this thing, it's very likely that he'd give his watch sales a big boost. These would be much better adapted to the new ones, which the users will of course hear about.
