The first thing that comes to mind when you first catch iPhone XS Max, are words of excitement – excitement about its huge display. Apple because he gave this phone two firsts. This is the largest display ever Apple used on his phone. This was also reflected in the second priority, which is price. iPhone XS Max so also the most expensive phoneonein the history of the brand AppleAt first glance, the owners will be surprised iPhone 8 Plus, who are holding a phone of the same size, but with an inch larger display. You suddenly realize how unused the body of the previous Plus model was.

Another new feature is the replacement of the phone's aluminum frame with steel. It not only feels much more premium, but it also slips significantly less in the hand. However, I still feel that it can be iPhone XS Max It can fall out of your hands at any time. So it's a phone that you have to be aware of, that you won't be able to type messages while walking with just one hand, but you will have to use both hands. The weight is still high and a significant part of it is not on your fingers but outside them, making it all the easier for the phone to fall out of your hands.

Of course, it is still a phone and comparing its usability with a tablet or even a computer is, in my opinion, completely out of the question. Despite this, when you look at the display, you see a significantly greater usability of the device itself. You will suddenly find that basic editing of tables, photos, videos or writing emails that will contain more than three words is much easier and clearer. After a few dozen hours, I do not dare to say whether this will actually be the case, but I believe that the owners of this device will be happy with their tablet or MacBook reach a little less than before and they can handle minor editing or content creation on their phone.

However, the huge display also has its downsides, which you will recognize as soon as you open, for example Safari or start a video on YouTube. Apple thanks to the cutout in the display itself, it also adapted the iOS and so quite often you find that the top part of the display is simply covered by a white strip that is unused. There is also a problem with YouTube, which logically offers videos in the 16:9 aspect ratio, which is what the vast majority of cameras shoot in these days, including those in mobile devices. iPhone XS Max It has an aspect ratio of 19,5:9, so you either have to accept that the video doesn't cover the entire length of the phone, or you can switch it to a mode in the YouTube app where it covers the entire length, but for a change you have black borders above and below the video. While the display is the most impressive thing you'll immediately notice on the phone, you'll quickly find that most apps or commonly used functions can't use it all.

If you're a big screen lover and can imagine actually doing something productive on your phone, then this is for you. iPhone XS Max compared to the previous one iPhone The 8 Plus will definitely make it easier. On the other hand, it's still a huge device that, for me personally, handles in a completely different way than the classic phone I've been used to for years. You'll have to wait for the review to find out more, but for now, you can read the review of the smaller model. iPhone XS, which you can find in the article: Review iPhone XS: A successful evolution that will appeal primarily to owners of older iPhones
