A really bizarre case has appeared in China, which is connected with the functioning of one iPhone. According to its owner, it started to show unusual behavior the moment it was connected to the charger. At that moment, the aforementioned device began to do whatever it wanted and perform various types of operations on its own.

The owner of one of the iPhones in question, Ms. Yang, said she had her device plugged into a charger and placed on a table when the phone suddenly launched the Ctrip app, one of Asia’s leading travel agencies. But it didn’t stop there – iPhone According to its owner, it managed to book a presidential suite in a Shanghai hotel through the app for a price equivalent to several tens of thousands of crowns. The phone even managed to pay for the order "by itself." However, the owner managed to disconnect the device from the charger before the payment could be approved. iPhone in addition, it automatically switched from 4G to 2G network. Miss Yang tried the whole process again and after reconnecting the phone to the charger iPhone ordered via WeChat train ticket.
This was a non-jailbroken device, but the charging cable and adapter came from third-party manufacturers. The cause of this strange – and rare – phenomenon has not yet been revealed. It is reminiscent of the “Ghost Touch” affair that affected some iPhones in 2014, and third-party accessories are likely to be to blame. There is also some suspicion of malware – according to the Georgia Institute of Technology, it is theoretically possible to “infect” a charger with malware and thus compromise security iOS device regardless of whether it has been jailbroken or not. However, we will have to wait a while longer to unravel this plot.
I wonder if this is just a one-time unconfirmed report, or if there will be more similar cases and it will be addressed.
This is not possible even with Android without enabling USB debugging, allowing installation from unknown sources and confirming the necessary permissions to run and pay.
That would be a big hole in iOS and I don't want to believe it.
There would have to be a Flash memory in the cable and it needs a supporting application to work. Even original flasks need a file manager from AppStore.
The only solution that could theoretically be functional is a raspberry equivalent in an adapter with drivers simulating iTunes, but that would not be profitable to produce.
It had to be fake. iphone
Sure, and when you turn off location tracking, it turns off the ? oh wait
this makes the display from china :D
Exactly as Tomas says fake display and defective touch layer. It works for me too iphone 5.
I agree, it happened to me with a non-original display with a non-original cable, iPhone You did whatever you wanted so often that I was surprised how it was possible 😃
Apple it's probably a good idea when they assign such campaigns to PR
Well, this is what a non-original charger does from my own experience... The phone is charging 100% Once charged, he starts clicking like crazy and if he gets it right, he orders a plane ticket :)
I've already ordered terrible things a few times when I got drunk 😂 but I never thought to put it on the charger 😂👍
I know this. Terrible shopping.
: D: D: D: D
Classic Ghost touch. It came back to me a week ago Iphone X from the complaint, he clicked freely as he wanted. In appIt was clearly visible on the touch monitoring system. Connecting to a charger could trigger this process...
I have this one and it's good so far 😁
Did their sales of original accessories drop so much when they released this to the world? 🤔
Hoax, technically impossible. For download every appis a fingerprint needed/Face ID/password. And a million other things.
I guess
Christopher Neruda Lam 😂😂😂😂 do you want a trip to the Alps? Buy a charger that will do it for you 😂😂
I have the same experience, only the adapter didn't do it for me, but the cable. Maybe it was also in connection with the Chinese display. If I left the unlocked mobile lying around, the display "clicked" randomly, maybe it dialed someone, opened an application, etc... it was on ip7. I stopped using the adapter and fine.

For example, the older original apple earpods dial random numbers
This is news again, some intelligent woman orders a room and then doesn't want to pay, so she puts it on the charger. The same as when the plumber stupidly turned on the tap, heated the barracks and blamed it on a wrench…..
Where is Google going with its assistant, who can "only" book an appointment with a hairdresser...
Yesterday I received a Neorigo charger from China Apple Watch. When I put it on to charge my watch, a terrible thing happened to me. I was not able to take my watch out at all. Iphone SE/128 from the case. The moment I disconnected the charger from Apple Watch, so the phone was removed normally without any problem.
So I put it back in the case and connected the neorigo charger to the Apple Watch and tried to take the phone out of the case. No matter how hard I tried, it didn't work. I managed to do it only after disconnecting the charger. I repeated it in front of witnesses 30 times and the result was the same.
I therefore connected the original charger to Apple Watch and everything was as it should be. The watch was charging and the phone Iphone SE/128 could be taken out of the case normally, 30 times in a row.
I immediately mailed this infernal charger back to China and am trying to forget this horrible experience.
